Market Research Analyst

 

Reporting to: Market Research Manager

Overview

 

The prime responsibility of the role is to assist the Market Research team by producing valuable written content that supports the design, implementation and reporting of Global and industry-specific Sales strategies, projects and initiatives.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Research into clients, industries, projects and competitors; to support diversification, intelligent sales strategies and planning.
  • Analyse, evaluate and produce written content on prospective clients and industry sectors, whilst taking ownership of producing monthly/quarterly reports and newsletters.
  • Utilise various resources through databases, reports, publications and web content; to create Market Intelligence lists and packs according to business requirements. 
  • Supporting the Market Research Manager and collaborating with project development teams to provide various documentation that will assist sales and recruitment on key Global Projects, in diversified sectors.
  • Occasionally project mapping key clients and identifying strategic connections such as Decision Makers, Hiring Managers and Influencers, providing contact details where possible.

  • Exceptional analytical mind to formulate and analyse industry trends for reporting purposes.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, demonstrating ability to multitask and prioritise.
  • Comfortable to work under pressure and self-motivated.
  • Results and output driven.
  • Good IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Able to develop and manage relationships internationally.
  • Team player who can also take initiative and work in an autonomous fashion.

 

Education/Qualifications/Knowledge 


  • Degree qualified or equivalent preferable.
  • Good knowledge of NES Fircroft related industries and energy sectors is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of basic statistical analysis would be advantageous.
